We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how and what information we do collect. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your information when you visit our mobile application (the “Application(s),” “app(s)”). Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. This Privacy Policy applies when you access, visit or use our applications. By accessing, visiting or using our apps, you expressly consent to our use and retention of your information as outlined in this policy. We reserve the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy at any time and for any reason. We will alert you about any changes by updating the date of this Privacy Policy. You are encouraged to periodically review this Privacy Policy to stay informed of updates. You will be deemed to have been made aware of, will be subject to, and will be deemed to have accepted the changes in any revised Privacy Policy by your continued use of the Application after the date such revised Privacy Policy is posted.

If you access our apps through a third party service that provides a gateway to the Service, such as iTunes or Google Play (a "Gateway Service") or a licensee of PNB Mobile Limited, you will have a separate, additional account relationship with that Gateway Service and the information you provide to that Gateway Service will be handled in accordance with the privacy practices of the applicable Gateway Service. Gateway Services are not partners or representatives of PNB Mobile Limited and we are therefore not responsible for the acts or omissions of a Gateway Service with regard to the collection or use of your information. Our apps are designed to give you the best mobile application experience possible. We do not seek to retain any data that we do not need. Any data we do use will be used exclusively to improve our application and service to you. We outline what that means in this policy.

COLLECTION OF YOUR INFORMATION

We may collect information about you in a variety of ways. The information we may collect via the Application depends on the content and materials you use, and includes:

GEO-LOCATION INFORMATION

Should you wish to access location based services (Historic Trails/Directions/location recommendations etc.) we may request permission to obtain your mobile device location, either continuously or while you are using the Application, so that we are able to provide location-based services. If you do not want us to use your geo-location information you may change your preferences through the "Settings" feature of the Brackley App. This will stop us collecting this information and disable these location features within the app. No location data is transmitted to our servers.

COOKIES

We do not use cookies.

MOBILE DEVICE DATA

Device information such as your mobile device ID number, model, manufacturer, version of your operating system, country and your location (if you consent) will be accessed to enable the app to provide the service it has been designed to deliver.

MOBILE DEVICE ACCESS

We do NOT require access to features on your mobile device, including your mobile device’s bluetooth, calendar, camera, contacts, microphone, reminders, sensors, SMS messages, social media accounts, storage etc. However, you may choose to use our ‘Talk To Us’ feature where you can attach a picture to an email which is sent to the local Council. Should you do this, you will be prompted to select the image you wish to use when composing the email. We will NOT seek access to your photos directly. Should you use this feature, it is understood that you are allowing us to attach the picture to an email on your behalf and that you have the correct authorities to use the image submitted. The email we will compose may be modified by you in any way you deem fit – you may choose to send or discard the email. At no point will we ever have access to your account(s) or any email credentials.

PUSH NOTIFICATIONS

If you use our app on a mobile device, when the feature is available and with your consent only, we may send push notifications to your mobile device. We may provide updates about our app or messages/updates from the app’s client. You can manage push notifications from our app’s settings. You may also be able to manage them from your mobile device's settings page.

THIRD-PARTY DATA

We do not collect any third-party data.

We do not collect any financial data.

FACEBOOK PERMISSIONS

We do not collect any Facebook data.

DATA FROM SOCIAL NETWORKS

We do not collect any Social Network data.

DISCLOSURE OF YOUR INFORMATION

We may share whatever information we have collected about you in certain situations. Your information may be disclosed as follows:

LAW ENFORCEMENT AUTHORITIES

To the extent permitted by law, we may share your information with law enforcement, governmental agencies, or authorised third parties, in response to a verified request relating to a criminal investigation or alleged illegal activity or any other activity that may expose us, you, or any other PNB Mobile user to legal liability, or to protect our rights or property, or during emergencies when safety is at risk.

BY LAW OR TO PROTECT RIGHTS

If we believe the release of information about you is necessary to respond to legal process, to investigate or remedy potential violations of our policies, or to protect the rights, property, and safety of others, we may share your information as permitted or required by any applicable law, rule, or regulation. This includes exchanging information with other entities for fraud protection and credit risk reduction.

THIRD-PARTY SERVICE PROVIDERS

We may share your information with third parties that perform services for us or on our behalf, including data analysis, problem reporting, push notifications or customer service.

THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES

The Application contains links to third-party websites and applications of interest, including external services, that are not affiliated with us. Once you have used these links, any information you provide to these third parties is not covered by this Privacy Policy, and we cannot guarantee the safety and privacy of your information. Before visiting and providing any information to any third-party websites/applications, you should inform yourself of the privacy policies and practices (if any) of the third party responsible for that website, and should take those steps necessary to, in your discretion, protect the privacy of your information. We are not responsible for the content or privacy and security practices and policies of any third parties, including other sites, services or applications that may be linked to or from the Application.

SALE OR BANKRUPTCY

If we reorganise or sell all or a portion of our assets, undergo a merger, or are acquired by another entity, we may transfer whatever information we hold to the successor entity. If we go out of business or enter bankruptcy, your information would be an asset transferred or acquired by a third party. You acknowledge that such transfers may occur and that the transferee may decline to honour commitments we made in this Privacy Policy.

We are not responsible for the actions of third parties with whom you share personal or sensitive data, and we have no authority to manage or control third-party solicitations. If you no longer wish to receive correspondence, emails or other communications from third parties, you are responsible for contacting the third party directly.

SECURITY OF YOUR INFORMATION

We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information. While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the personal information you provide to us, please be aware that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or other type of misuse. Any information disclosed online is vulnerable to interception and misuse by unauthorised parties. Therefore, we cannot guarantee complete security if you provide personal information.

POLICY FOR CHILDREN

We do not knowingly solicit information from or market to children under the age of 13. If you become aware of any data we have collected from children under age 13, please contact us using the contact information provided below.
